Today we say goodbye to our beloved dog, Dexter.
Born in Korea, Dexter found his way to Canada through adoption. From the very beginning, he carried a quiet strength and a gentle spirit. He was later cared for and deeply loved by family who welcomed him into their lives in ways they never expected. Through Dexter, meaningful connections were formed, and many moments of companionship, protection, and joy were shared.
Dexter was incredibly smart, fiercely loyal, and a devoted guard dog. He touched many lives and left his mark on everyone who knew him. His presence was steady, comforting, and full of love.
Today at 2:30 PM, Dexter was peacefully put to rest with his family by his side. Surrounded by love, he was reassured that he was safe and thanked for being such a good boy. Though this goodbye was heartbreaking, Dexter was suffering, and today we chose to carry that pain for him so he could finally be at peace.
Though his body is no longer with us, we believe Dexter’s spirit remains—watching over us, walking beside us in quieter ways, and living on in our hearts. As we move forward, we will remember him with love, gratitude, and the comfort of knowing he is free from pain.
Rest peacefully, Dexter. You were deeply loved and will always be with us.
